It feels a little like Autumn 💭

Top - H&M              Skirt - Zara

Jumper - Matalan

Boots - AllSaints

Shirt - AllSaints

So tonight I felt like it was time to sort through my wardrobe, which is a task I dread. The transition from season to season leaves you with the list of things you actually need! After spending most of my last few years as an eBay addict, I tend to leave spring/summer with less clothing than I had the previous year, as we don't need the chunky knits during the summer time!

This year, I decided, no more eBay! I now have more clothes in my wardrobes than ever before, although I did have so much enjoyment out of trying on all my outfits and getting myself all prepared for winter! I simply can not wait until I can layer up.

I have been left with a list of NEEDED items so I will be posting outfits through the blog every now and again for the next few weeks. I will also start posting wish lists of the items I am currently lusting after so stay tuned. Lots more to come!

Here I leave you with some snapshots of pieces I look forward to taking through to Autumn.

From St Xavier

As many of the people who know me know, I rarely accessorise enough.
I am just so incredibly picky when it comes to accessories and jewellery that I never end up buying anything.
Quality is something I always look for and generally, on the high street, I don't find anything that I feel is worth it's price... Plus a lot of the items just look the same.
I did, however, fall in love with a brand while at PURE at the beginning of August.
It is exactly the type of jewellery I love.
So Minimal, yet each piece is a statement that can be worn at any time.
The brand was FROM ST XAVIER. An Australian brand, created in Sydney.
As well as using sterling silver and plated brass, they use precious stones which gives their pieces the edge over anything similar seen on the high street.
Also for the quality you receive from this brand, the prices are perfect for anyone wanting to spend or anyone on a budget.

Here are some of the images from their most recent Lookbook -

I would just love to buy every piece, however here is a wish list of the pieces I lust after the most!

If you go down to the woods today...

We had an amazing few days away in Pembrokeshire. 4 days in a peaceful haven, just me and my guy, celebrating our 6 year anniversary. We stayed in the Bluestone resort right next to Oakwood, and about 15 minutes from Tenby Town. The resort was absolutely beautiful. We stayed right in the middle of the 'village' section of the resort and surrounding us were beautiful log cabins. It was such a beautiful place to walk around but it was so expensive! We spent an absolute fortune!

I have added some pictures of my outfit from the first day of our trip however these are the first #ootd that I have done so please don't judge too harshly!!

All in all we had an amazing time and I will be posting some photographs from our Tenby visit. Thankfully we had some lovely weather, we were so lucky!

Y.A.S Apparel

When I walked into the Y.A.S stand at PURE London at the beginning of August this year, I was drawn to the amazing blue garments that they had on the stands. I am always completely drawn to blue in whatever shop i'm in, and, 90% of the time I will end up buying it over any other colour.

The brand had a presence at PURE. They interacted with clients, gave away bags and the reps were so friendly. It really drew me in and made me want to find out what this brand had to offer.
As soon as I started to look through the rails I knew this was a brand that would stick in my mind.
Even though it was the S/S 15 collection they were previewing at the show, it was the tailored trench coat that caught my eye over anything else and I know that as soon as this comes into store next year I will be trying my hardest to have it as part of my wardrobe!

Their Look-book's for Autumn/Winter 2014 were very inspirational and spoke to my own personal style. They styling of the garments on each page just inspired me and made me want to go out and get my Winter wardrobe completely sorted out... even though we are still in the middle of Summer!

In their Look-book they interview bloggers, which I found very quirky and different. I hadn't seen this done by any other brand before and I enjoyed reading what they had to say about the collections. In collection 6, They interviewed Camille who owns camilleovertherainbow.com, who also is the model in the following images.

The other aspect that I loved from their collection was that they have recently launched a sports line. Each piece is inspired by their collections in the same way and are really unique to other sports items on the high street. They really give you a sense of luxury and definitely made me want to give it a try.
Unfortunately I do not have any images of this however it has launched online at YAS.

There was also a separate Look-book for collection 5 and again they had a blogger to model/interview.  Aurelia owns fashionisaplayground.blogspot.com and the garments that she modelled completely summed up my winter style.

My favourite pieces from this collection would have to be the leather and knitwear pieces. The leather trousers that Aurelia wears in the images are exactly what I have been looking for. The knitted cardigan in the last images is also one of my favourite pieces.

I'm looking forward to seeing these when they launch online at YAS.

ALLSAINTS - AUTUMN, COME AT ME.

Quinta Jumper - AllSaints      Leather Trousers - AllSaints      Elion Jumper - Allsaints         Riverso Rip It Up Dress - AllSaints

My favourite time of year, Autumn/Winter. As much as I don't want these beautiful sunny days to end, the clothing just gets better and better. Layering up on a cold winters day is my favourite way to style clothes and each year at this time, it is what I look forward to.

This is were my job has it's perks. Stylist at AllSaints has it's ups especially when the new collections come into store... (and when the garments are this beautiful it makes it even better). Here I am testing the new season! My favourite so far from the Pre-fall launch has to be the Quinta Jumper, pictured first with the new leather trousers. It is made from an alpaca blend and is easily one of the cosiest jumpers I have ever worn. The leather trousers actually are also extremely comfortable which is making it very hard for me to refuse purchasing new items!

Next on my wish list is the Elion Jumper. I had the Sago Jumper last season which was similar as it had the hole on the shoulder but this one is slightly jumper. Made from Merino Wool, this jumper is a key item for the AllSaints season. Again, I styled it with the leather trousers which are slowly becoming a favourite of mine. I do need to resist however.

Lastly, I have fallen for the Riverso Rip It Up Dress. This print is hugely important to AllSaints this season and I have to be honest, I am enjoying it immensely. It is so comfortable on and is very flattering. I feel that I am going to need to save A LOT for this season seeing as 'official' Autumn/Winter is still yet to launch!

Unfortunately for me, there are many more items that I would love to share. I am hoping that these I can share with you when I actually own them myself.

Come at me, Autumn!

PURE LONDON: Buyer's Trade Show

On August 3rd, I attended the Pure Trade Show in London. I took my mum and we had the best time. As a fashion design graduate, I am still designing and creating my own garments working toward a collection to launch during Spring/Summer 2015 which is very exciting for myself, as well as working on my Fashion Photography. I am hoping to incorporate it all into one studio.
I found some amazing brands on the day that I would love to work with on my journey including Sol-Sana, Y.A.S and From St Xavier. These bands would work very well alongside my own collection and were very inspiring to me on the day.
I also attended the WGSN seminar which was extremely informative and exciting. It made me excited for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 and inspired me to design even more.

Here I show you some of the trends and part of the seminar. I also took a stroll around London Town and went into some of my favourite stores, including Liberty. If you haven't yet been inside, you need too. Definitely one to put on your to-do list.

THEA X RELOVED: Black & White Edit

THEA x RELOVED

Welcoming the beautiful Thea. While working on a lookbook shoot for vintage brand Re-loved, we were amazed by how amazing Thea made the clothing looked. These were images for the Spring/Summer campaign for the brand and we are currently working on the Autumn/Winter editorials during the next couple of weeks. As soon as these are complete they will be posted up on the blog.
These are not the final published images. I took them a step forward and created a black and white edit for my own portfolio of work and will continue to do so with all the images that are taken with the brand.

Take a look and like her page! Some amazing product still to come:
